Vice President, Supplier Management & Delivery (Remote)
Full-time, United States, Europe
In this role, you'll manage all aspects of our commercial relationships with hotel and lodging suppliers and partnerships. This includes developing and directing the supplier strategy, contract negotiations, enabling new content, financials (budgets, billing, payment, and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing global relationships with key decision-makers, staff development, business continuance, and escalation of operational issues. You'll have direct responsibility to BCD and externally to the suppliers for the success of the contract globally and/or across multiple BCD Travel regions (Americas, Europe, and APAC).
As a Vice President, Supplier Management & Delivery, you will
- Lead the Hotel commercial team and own the Global Hotel P&L
- Negotiate, develop, and manage a team that works with all lodging suppliers and partnerships
- Develop and deliver collaborative business plans to drive alignment and hotel growth with primary internal business units (Supplier Management & Delivery, GCT, Hotel Solutions, Sales, Commercial Teams/Ops, etc.)
- Solve complex problems and drive value for BCD, our supplier partners, and clients
- Budget and forecast for Global Hotel
- Analyze supplier performance to ensure optimal revenues and earnings rates
- Manage performance and provide leadership and growth for direct reports
About you
- Extensive travel industry experience with TMC knowledge
- Previous experience in a leadership role with direct reports
- Strong people leader who thrives in developing teammates
- Knowledge of global issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business internationally; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to each market and diverse situations
- Understanding of preparing and justifying business cases and value propositions; ability to identify cost, benefits, ROI, opportunities, and risks
- Proven ability to understand, negotiate, and manage complex supplier contracts
- Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Vice President Supplier Management & Delivery is between $169,000 and $180,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
