Manager, Client Business Intelligence (Hybrid)
Full-time, Austin, Texas, United States
As a member of the Business Intelligence team, you will work on a range of complex problems and be responsible for the design and development of new reporting packages. You will work on a cross-functional team that includes counterparts in Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Supplier Relations.
Your performance will be measured by your ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed product specifications, identify problems that need to be solved and own the process from start to finish.
This role includes leadership, mentorship, and accountability of a team of less senior data analysts.
As a Manager, Client Business Intelligence, you will
- Apply critical thinking to break down complex problems into manageable components
- Conduct root cause analysis to uncover the fundamental drivers of performance programs or inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions
- Develop, design, and maintain dashboards to present data insights and monitor performance metrics
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve business performance
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast business outcomes and optimize processes
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate them into business intelligence (BI) solutions
About you
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous hands-on experience with business intelligence software, preferably those found in the travel & meetings industry
- Strong SQL skills utilizing complex queries in a large data warehouse environment (Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, MySQL, etc)
- Strong spreadsheet skills, including pivots, vlookups, conditional formatting, large record sets
- You can manipulate and condense large volumes of data into succinct and powerful visualizations using tools like Tableau and/or Power BI
- Analytical ability, demonstrated by being able to quickly grasp and break apart complex and ambiguous concepts into logical, understandable, and sequenced development steps

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Business Intelligence Analyst is between $95,000 and $110,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
