Senior Director, Solutions Consulting (Remote)

Full time, United Kingdom

 

Global Solutions Engineering is a team of solution subject matter experts focused on defining and communicating the ideal solution to current customers and strategic sales prospects. As one of the largest travel commerce and digital platforms for business in the world, we invest heavily in our products and partner with industry-leading providers.  In this strategic position, you and your teammates will collaborate on our sales and client retention efforts by positioning and showcasing BCD’s products and services. This is a hands-on, client-focused, technically knowledgeable, and commercially savvy role. 

 

As a Senior Director, Solutions Consulting

  • Strategize with Opportunity Owners (Sales and Account Management) to create a targeted plan for selling products and services to  prospects and existing clients, which includes expansion, retention, and bid avoidance
  • Meet with clients and prospects to understand their business travel needs and provide relevant and tailored technology solutions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the Sales Team and Account Managers/VPs/SVP to be considered a strategic partner to close opportunities
  • Have advanced knowledge of products and services put forth and develop the messaging and story to meet our revenue projections through the sales and placement of our digital solutions
  • Across the organization, connect with strategic partners, listen to their thoughts and concerns, and find ways to work together and benefit BCD
  • Be prepared to respond to questions, inquiries, and objections that clients may have during the presentation of solutions, products, and services

 

About you

  • Extensive business travel industry experience
  • Experience in closing sales opportunities
  • Experience with travel industry technologies or SaaS products
  • Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation in English
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus
