Senior Support Consultant (Remote)

Full time, United States

Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm EST, Monday through Friday

 

As a Senior Support Consultant, you will be responsible for completing all incoming tasks as assigned. The Consultant works in the GDS, as well as directly with various hotels globally, to find availability in sold out situations, identify lower rate opportunities and assist with missing or inaccurate hotel folios. You will process requests based on industry, client and BCD Travel rules and procedures. The Consultant will also support the client's travelers in relation to the Uber for Business portal.


As a Senior Support Consultant, you will

  • Manage all aspects of hotel bookings with rates above the city caps and for sold-out situations.
  • Review all online and offline reservations with requests for specific first choice hotels, rate types and/or sold out city situations
  • Handle requests for missing or inaccurate hotel folios
  • Support Travel with Uber for Business special requests, user support, holiday notices and reporting/invoices.
  • Manage the client's public holiday schedule and add Uber Eats in cities where client otherwise provides daily catering
  • Coordinate all ride and app specific queries with the Uber Support representative


About you

  • Several years of travel industry experience
  • Proficient on Sabre GDS
  • Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
  • Demonstrated professional customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Hotel Industry experience a plus

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of  Senior Support Consultant is between $47,000 and $55,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
