Senior Marketing & Communications Strategy Project Manager - Aerospace & Defense Vertical (Remote)

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager with knowledge and skills in the sales, marketing, and travel industry, and hands-on experience in social media strategy and execution. This role will support the leadership team responsible for the Aerospace & Defense Government Contractor vertical with program initiatives, customer-facing meetings and events, and drive projects that enhance brand presence, customer engagement, and revenue-generating outcomes.
As a Senior Marketing & Communications Strategy Project Manager - Aerospace & Defense Vertical, you will
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across sales, marketing, and customer-facing initiatives.
- Develop project timelines, track milestones, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Communications, and external partners.
- Oversight of A&D Client Forum and key industry events
- Manage A&D vertical business plan and key projects
Sales & Marketing Support
- Liaison with Sales to develop & maintain an A&D sales pipeline for new business
- Partner with Marketing to create new material highlighting BCD’s value position in this space.
- Create and maintain project materials such as presentations, briefs, communication plans, benchmarking materials, newsletters, social media posts, website updates, etc.
- Provide education and collateral for sales and retention teams
- Analyze campaign and program performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased ROI.
Travel Industry Expertise
- Leverage knowledge of existing A&D customer base via A&D Program Management Workgroup.
- Support customer-specific travel initiatives, retention strategies, and operational improvement projects, A&D vertical roadmap initiatives, etc.
- Track progress on all initiatives
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Develop and execute social media plans aligned to marketing objectives and customer engagement goals.
- Manage content calendars, draft posts, and collaborate with design resources to deliver high-quality assets.
- Track and report social media metrics, engagement performance, trends, and competitive insights.
About you
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Several years of experience in project management, sales/marketing operations, or program coordination.
- Experience in the travel industry (corporate travel, travel management companies, suppliers, or hospitality) preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital trends.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Marketing & Communications Strategy Project Manager - Aerospace & Defense is between $85,000 and $95,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
