Senior Director Operations, Australia and Singapore

This is a full time permanent position with BCD Australia

If you are based in Sydney NSW, then this role is hybrid

 

As Senior Director of Operations, you will lead the drive for regional operational excellence while championing innovation across our corporate travel operations. This executive role demands a visionary and strategic leader with a proven ability in stakeholder management, operational transformation, and developing high‑performing, future‑ready teams.

 

As a Senior Director of Operations, you will 

  • Lead the operational strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
  • Oversee multi-market operations, driving efficiency, digital innovation, and continuous improvement across processes and service delivery.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for major client and operational issues, ensuring exceptional customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Partner with regional and global Account Management leadership to optimize client servicing performance and implement strategic improvements.
  • Review and refine operational frameworks, policies, and workflows to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasting, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure financial performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop the Operations Management team, driving leadership capability, succession planning, and long-term talent growth.

 

About you 

  • 10+ years of corporate travel industry experience, including leadership roles
  • Proven track record in contact center or service delivery leadership, with strong expertise in large-scale corporate travel programs.
  • Extensive experience in operational strategy, transformation, process improvement, and performance management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with prior responsibility for budgeting, cost control, and operational financial planning.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of travel technology, contact center solutions, and customer recovery strategies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration preferred; flexibility to travel and as and when required.
  • The position may involve domestic and international travel based on business needs.
