Finance Shared Service – Senior Accountant (Remote)

Full time, Bangalore, India

 

In this role, you will be responsible for a full set of accounting books relating to intercompany transactions for APAC countries, participating in monthly management reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. You will perform accounts receivables activities for APAC countries. 

 

As a Finance Shared Service – Senior Accountant, you will

  • Be responsible for oversight of all intercompany transactions and processes, including compliance with intercompany transfer pricing agreements, as well as completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts
  • Review intercompany payments prepared by AP
  • Ensure intercompany balances are confirmed with counterparties before the month close process is completed
  • Ensure all IC transactions are recorded on time
  • Ensure intercompany balances are reconciled at each month-end and financial year-end
  • Prepare and send the Monthly statement of accounts to client for accelerate the collection process
  • Prepare the AR aging report on weekly basis and send to stakeholders
  • Handle queries from clients and internal stakeholders
  • Perform credit card reconciliation and GL clearing on a regular basis
  • Assist in monthly management report analysis relating to intercompany transactions and Accounts receivables
  • Assist in monthly rolling forecast process relating to intercompany transactions
  • Participate in annual statutory Audit

 

About you

  • Degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive accounting experience, including a few years in full set of book function
  • Proficiency in accounting solution (SAP) and MS office application (Excels, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Capable of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, and taking on additional responsibility
  • Ability to manage escalations from stakeholders and guide team members to provide resolution
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
