Regional Sales Director - Nordics
Full Time, Remote, Sweden
You will conduct discovery and workshop sessions with prospective clients in this position. This position is responsible for obtaining new travel management contracts, including regionalized government and private sector accounts. Our agreements and service offerings are tailor-made and are the product of a unique consultative process involving collaboration with our talented and diverse internal and external partners over a multi-month sales cycle. About ten percent of your potential clients will come from provided lead sources, while the remaining prospects will come from your marketing, sourcing, and relationship building.
As a Regional Sales Director - Nordics, you will
- Develop and implement strategic business plans that are tailored to seize new business opportunities
- Place a strong emphasis on establishing and nurturing relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels within the client organization
- Document sales reports and make recommendations to help meet client objectives
- Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy
- Overseeing the implementation of new business is a collaborative effort, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved.
About you
- Proven travel management company or similar sales experience, remote or hybrid
- Comfortable in a business development role with performance-based compensation
- Well-developed and successful history of networking within the industry
- Quickly builds rapport with management and comfortably tailors communication for clients
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
- Solid communication skills in English and Swedish, an additional language, are a plus
- Willingness to travel regionally is required
- Knowledge of competitor strategies, industry trends, and product developments is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, being preferred
