Privacy Analyst (Remote)

Full Time, Netherlands

BCD Travel is looking to hire a qualified privacy analyst meeting the below qualifications. The primary emphasis for this position will be to support the BCD Travel Privacy Team in delivering service-oriented, business-minded assistance in connection with global data privacy matters. This position may be virtual or office-based where BCD Travel has a presence.

As a Privacy Analyst, you will

Initiate, review, and complete privacy risk assessments (e.g., DPIAs, PIAs, TIAs), and respond to privacy-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Research and monitor developments in privacy laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry best practices, and communicate internally, proposing risk mitigation strategies
Update and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and training materials
Advise internal staff based on privacy policies, procedures, and strategies
Advise on privacy and data protection risks related to new products, services and initiatives
Support internal and external privacy audits and other privacy program initiatives

About you

Prior experience working on data privacy and data protection matters
Familiarity with key privacy and data protection frameworks and regulations
Ability to interact directly with internal colleagues and translate legal and regulatory data protection requirements into practical and creative solutions to complex business issues, including providing pragmatic risk assessments
Experience with OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms required
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Relevant privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM) or equivalent is a plus
