Outsourced Travel Manager (Remote)

Full time, Temporary, Germany

The Outsourced Travel Manager will perform a variety of functions related to the client's travel portfolio. Depending on the scope of work defined in the client contract, this may involve supporting corporate travel strategies, conducting sourcing activities, and/or ensuring that the travel program is coordinated with the program objectives. This position will have a thorough understanding of one or more segments of the corporate travel industry.

As an Outsourced Travel Manager, you will

Support a client program, which includes identifying program goals and outlining strategies to achieve objectives
Assist with the optimization of key targets and integrate travel services within the program portfolio
Identify travel technology products, developing market intelligence and benchmarking platforms
Serve as liaison among clients, travelers, and suppliers by listening, problem-solving, and communicating both verbally and written
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various levels of organization
Organize, prepare, and participate in client events and training seminars

About you

Previous travel industry experience in account management or management role
Thorough knowledge of at least one segment of the corporate travel industry
Prior experience with GDS Amadeus
Experience working in cross-functional work teams
Experience working with a large market and/or global clients
Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English and German
