Outsourced Travel Manager (Hybrid)

Full time, Hilversum, Netherlands

This position will perform a variety of functions related to a client's travel portfolio. The primary focus of this role is the SLAs, especially on Travel fulfilment for Events. This candidate will have a thorough understanding of one or more segments of the corporate travel industry.

As an Outsourced Travel Manager, you will

• Manage the regular cadence of a regional travel program, including managing program policy and procedures
• Be responsible for the day-to-day operational interactions of the travel program. This will include weekly meetings with EMEA Events Operations and Meeting Air Coordinators
• Be a point of contact with our regional suppliers. This will include escalation management and resolution
• Be a regional finance liaison, including supporting escalations on payment issues as issues arise. You will also be the point of contact to internal stakeholders on cost center and reconciliation questions 
• Be accountable for the regional travel program insights, reporting, and analytics. You will establish reporting standards for the region
• Communicate and incorporate policy and compliance initiatives in regional travel strategy and traveler engagement change management
• Monitor the EMEA Travel internal inbox (with requests coming in from travelers and internal stakeholders)

About you

• Previous travel industry experience in account management or management role
• Thorough knowledge of at least one segment of the corporate travel industry 
• Experience working with large market and/or global clients
• Ability to manage ongoing projects
• Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in Dutch and English
• Prior experience attending to VIP clients is a plus
• Ability to travel as needed
