Out of Hours - Senior Entertainment Travel Consultant (Remote)

Full time, United Kingdom

We are very excited to be on the lookout for an experienced Entertainment Consultant (out of hours) to join our Media & Entertainment division. This fast-paced and interesting role is based in the United Kingdom, and would suit someone who has a passion for entertainment travel, as our clients are major players in the TV and Film industries.

As a Senior Entertainment Travel Consultant (out of hours), you will

• Fulfill incoming travel requests/inquiries accurately and efficiently via Sabre Gds
• Have the ability to assist with group bookings, air/hotels, etc
• Be able to work well and remain calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail
• Anticipate and provide proactive assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the client
• Understand and accurately support Production with crew and talent movements
• Be able to manage location and large group movements
• Confidently manage multiple complex itineraries
• Willingly aid team members within and across teams
• Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travellers
• Understand and accurately apply travel supplier rules
• Maintain current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
• Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Adhere to client and BCD Media & Entertainment policies and procedures to maintain quality control

About you 

• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Knowledge of travel industry systems GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Italian language fluency a plus 
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgement
• Demonstrated professional customer service skills
