Operations Manager

Full time, Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

In this role, you are responsible for the overall management and performance of travel operations, including operational efficiency, client servicing and retention, employee relations, and management.

 

As an Operations Manager, you will 

  • Review operations performance reports and provide direction to improve the performance of the operations against goals 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Account Manager and the operational staff 

  • Assist team efforts to move market share to BCD Travel preferred suppliers 

  • Provide team feedback, coaching and development through regular meetings, annual performance reviews and coaching 

  • Oversee and assist the team members in balancing priorities and managing their workload 

  • Responsible for employment-related activities, including hiring, onboarding new employees, and managing employee grievances and disciplinary matters

 

 About you                                                 

  • Extensive experience in the corporate travel management industry

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role with great people management skills

  • Knowledge of specified GDS(s).

  • Well versed in Microsoft Office environment

  • problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Impeccable customer service and interpersonal skills
