Manager Finance

Full time, Colombo, Sri Lanka

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of clients while driving robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. The role requires strong analytical capabilities to assess financial performance and provide insights into business decisions, risks, and opportunities. This position plays a key role in Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and Compliance, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards and organizational financial controls.

As a Manager Finance, you will

Support Finance department budget targets and overall financial objectives
Develop bottom-up annual budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Deliver monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget) and present actionable insights
Prepare monthly rolling forecasts with inputs from internal clients
Assist the Finance Director in preparing monthly flash reports and management packs
Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A) initiatives to support business strategy
Ensure accurate accounting practices in line with IFRS / International Accounting Standards
Oversee and ensure adherence to financial compliance and internal controls
Monitor financial performance against KPIs and support corrective actions
Contribute to achieving team goals and track progress quarterly and annually

About you

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles
Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant / ACCA (preferred)
Proven experience in Finance Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Compliance
Prior experience working in a Multinational Corporation (MNC) environment
Strong knowledge of IFRS / International Accounting Standards
