Travel Consultant II
Full time, Costa Rica

The travel consultant is the primary point of contact for the customer and provides active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related product.

As a Travel Consultant, you will 

• Manage and complete travel requests using BCD Travel tools and systems.
• Search, book, and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Apply client travel policies, supplier rules, and travel requirements accurately.
• Provide travel guidance, fare information, and cost-saving recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, policies, and regulations.
• Assist travelers with travel documentation and compliance requirements, including passports, visas, DOT, and TSA regulations.
• Support BCD Travel initiatives and client-specific programs and objectives.

About you

• Experience in a customer service-oriented or travel related position, and candidates without prior travel management company experience may be considered.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in designated languages  
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Demonstrated understanding of customer servicing excellence.
• Experience with GDS Sabre
