Global Account Manager II (Remote) 

Full time, United States, Canada

 

We are looking for a Global Account Manager II who is responsible for managing all aspects of a global travel program. This includes client retention, contract negotiation, implementation and business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, staff development, business continuance and escalation of operational issues. As a Global Account Manager II, you will 

  • Be responsible for the coordination of all central communication across regions both BCD Travel and client's global initiatives or interests 
  • Formulate and manage multi-national business plan with client with the goal of increasing revenues, decreasing cost, better utilizing assets and reducing risk of client attrition 
  • Develop Service Level Agreement for Service, Financial, MIS/CDS, Program Performance, Technology and Communication indicators, as applicable
  • Create and manage to budgets and financials (includes billing, payment & profitability)
  • Manage new business implementations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customer decision makers at all levels within the customer organization
  • Negotiate client contract terms and manage to all contractual terms
  • Manage global account management team 

 

About you 

  • Corporate/Business travel industry experience in client account management
  • Experience implementing & managing large market/ global corporate travel clients
  • Thorough knowledge of business travel management 
  • Thorough knowledge of travel industry technology 
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Global Account Manager II is between $89,000 and $122,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
