Project Accountant Groups (Remote)

The Staff Accountant prepares and completes all invoicing, payments, collections, and final billings in a scheduled manor working closely with program managers, producers and management. They ensure the financials for each event are managed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner. The Staff Accountant will communicate with vendors and project teams to complete program expense documentation as well as resolve outstanding payments and clarify issues related to program expenses.
You will be responsible for aspects related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including monitoring of finance email boxes, entering payments, allocations for vendors, posting of client payments, weekly AR collections.
As a Project Accountant Groups, you will
- Establish and fulfill deposit and billing schedule with Ops team for each project
- Reconcile all vendor invoices against billing documents and agreements
- Resolve client billing discrepancies working closely with the Account Executive and Program Manager
- Onboard new vendors into our payment tools (collecting paperwork, adding to bill.com, etc.)
- Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable Detail report and share with BCD accounting team
- Assist in month end and year end management
About you
- Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing/ collections is required
- Bachelor’s or associate Degree in accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Accounting software experience a plus – bill.com, Xero, SAP, Expensify
- Travel industry/hotel/ meetings & events experience a plus

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Project Accountant Groups is between $60,000 and $70,000. The pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
