Director Sales, Energy, Resources, Marine (ERM) - Remote

This is a sales individual contributor role. You will lead the sales effort to obtain and retain profitable new and expansion Energy, Resources, and Maine (ERM) travel accounts within the Americas. These accounts can be local, regional, and/or multinational accounts. You will use effective sales and marketing techniques. You will lead the BCD Travel sales support team through the sales process for target accounts. In this role, the Director Sales - ERM will have an individual sales target and performance against goal will be rewarded.
As a Director Sales, Energy, Resources, Marine (ERM), you will
- Meet or exceed individual and divisional sales goals and gross profit margin targets
- Develop a business plan to obtain profitable new accounts which may require making a set number of weekly face-to-face sales calls and/or cold calls
- Develop a prospect list of qualified ERM leads/prospect base and perform preliminary research to identify the client's needs and goals
- Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts to support expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipelines
- Establish and maintain multi-level and strategic relationships with key prospects/customers and preferred suppliers
- Assist in the coordination of contract negotiations and renegotiations, ensuring appropriate leadership sign-off on all negotiations
About you
- You have relevant work experience as a sales contributor at the corporate level (TMC space), with proven success in the ERM space being required
- Understanding of Crew Rotation processes, methods, and technology is required
- Skilled in the use of Salesforce as a CRM tool preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong negotiation skills
- Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation in English

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director Sales, Energy, Resources, Marine (ERM) is between $85,000 and $110,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
