Deployment Strategy Manager (Remote)

Full time, Costa Rica, Spain

 

The Deployment Strategy Manager plays a critical role in advancing global expansion, leading product implementation efforts for existing clients, and driving operational excellence across the Global Client Team (GCT). This role oversees cross-functional strategic initiatives, manages enterprise business planning tools, and ensures accurate and reliable Salesforce data to support informed decision-making. The Deployment Strategy Manager delivers strategic insight, project management, operational discipline, and continuous improvement that strengthens client delivery, scalability, and organizational performance.

 

As a Deployment Strategy Manager, you will

  • Deliver structured project management leadership across strategic and client-focused initiatives that support global expansion and scalable client growth
  • Oversee product implementation for existing clients, ensuring smooth deployment and successful adoption 
  • Manage strategic company opportunities like TripSource, APA, HPA, NDC, VPA
  • Identify process alignment and efficiencies across the GCT organization which can be cross utilized to generate speed to implementation
  • Act as central communicator to keep key stakeholders abreast of current project deliverables, milestones and any potential risks to ensure we meet stakeholder expectations
  • Manage business planning tools and processes (e.g. Smartsheet) to support portfolio visibility
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce data accuracy, reporting, and operational usage
  • Leverage global, regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
  • Manage Project risks

 

About you

  • Prior experience in the travel industry
  • Previous experience in a qualified project management role
  • Strong technical skills in Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan or another local GDS
  • Personnel management experience
  • Skills in project management software (Smartsheet, Excel or other)
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP or other project management certification preferred

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

  • Spain: 42,075 -46,000 EU

 

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
