Client Finance Analyst (Hybrid)

Full time, Tokyo, Japan

 

As a Client Profitability Analyst, you will create and analyze the CPA (Client Profitability Analysis) of clients in the Japan market. Based on the financial analysis, you can determine whether the client's profitability needs to be improved.


You will also be engaged in handling and managing other tasks within the finance team, as directed by APAC and Finance Manager.

 

As a Client Finance Analyst, you will

  • Prepare periodic CPA reports
  • Liaise with Finance, Operations, and Commerce departments
  • Make CPA models and reports for Management, Commerce, and individual business requests
  • Be responsible for the fee model request procedure and client data management in the back-office system
  • Prepare and conduct client audits to improve profitability, and update the client finance report quarterly based on requests from Global Client Finance
  • Prepare all top line sales volume, transactions, revenue, profitability analysis by clients
  • Assist the Finance Manager in completing all data updates, including the weekly transaction forecast, monthly actuals closing, monthly forecast, and annual budget

 

About you

  • Prior work experience in a finance role
  • You have a universitys degree or equivilant experience
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP and connected relevant Finance/Controlling reporting application
  • Understanding of and insight into finance processes 
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills and capable of analyzing processes 
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Advanced level Excel knowledge)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python)
