Vice President, Business Information Security Office (BISO)

Full-time, Remote  USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, UK

As the Vice President, Business Information Security Office (BISO), you will design, stand up, and lead BCD’s global BISO organization. You will build an operating model that embeds security and risk ownership directly into key markets, business lines, and product teams. Partnering closely with executive leadership, you will translate enterprise security strategy into business-aligned execution, strengthen regional and functional risk visibility, and drive integrated ways of working across security, technology, privacy, compliance, and broader business risk stakeholders. You will have responsibility for establishing and overseeing global BISO functions accountable for creating a high-performing team, scalable engagement models, and consistent governance mechanisms that enable secure growth, customer trust, and operational resilience.

 

As a Vice President, Business Information Security Office, you will

  • Serve as the executive security liaison and trusted partner to senior business and technology leadership
  • Design and implement the global BISO operating model, including engagement frameworks, governance cadence, and role clarity
  • Lead a global portfolio of business-facing security leaders aligned to BCD’s most critical markets and growth areas
  • Ensure enterprise security strategy is translated into consistent, business-aligned execution across regions and product organizations
  • Embed security and risk ownership into business planning, investment decisions, and product and technology lifecycles
  • Establish scalable engagement and risk management processes that enable timely prioritization, escalation, and remediation
  • Leverage executive dashboards and key performance indicators to measure business-facing security posture and continuous improvement
  • Ensure enterprise-wide alignment of security governance, compliance, and emerging risk oversight—including responsible AI—across the global BISO portfolio
  • Ensure business-aligned incident response readiness, resilience planning, and executive-level risk visibility across markets
  • Foster a culture of shared security accountability, enablement, and trust across global stakeholders

 

About you

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or information assurance, including senior leadership responsibility
  • Proven ability to build and lead business-facing security teams operating across global regions and product environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, governance, and risk management practices
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence senior business, technology, and product leaders
  • Experience establishing scalable engagement models, operating cadence, and performance measurement
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications preferred
  • Passion for enabling secure growth, customer trust, and operational resilience through strong security culture

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Vice President, Business Information Security Office  is between $195,000 and $214,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
