Air Associate Consultant (Remote)

Advito, BCD’s consulting firm, is looking for an Air Associate Consultant to join our growing Multimodal Solutions team. Our team works with several clients to adopt a more modern approach to travel spend management. We use in-house powerful analytics, innovative sourcing strategies and performance management to help our clients elevate their airline programs beyond traditional sourcing.

The Air Associate Consultant position is responsible to support with analysis, delivery and overall success of existing and new client projects. This involves contributing, under consultant, senior consultant or managing consultant supervision, to multiple client engagements simultaneously within timeline and budgetary guidelines. This requires an understanding of current industry state and trends, as well as the proprietary and third-party tools and technology which are used to conduct analyses, negotiations with suppliers and client deliverables. 

This position plays a crucial role in analyzing air travel data to generate actionable insights that help clients with spend management and air program optimization. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess and excellent communication skill.

As an Air Associate Consultant, you will

Client Management

• Identify additional revenue opportunities with the client from both current and future engagements
• Lead / co-lead client engagements, manage projects to timelines and meet client expectations and resource budgets 
• Collect, analyze, and interpret travel data to identify trends, gaps, savings opportunities, and efficiency improvements, ensuring that insights are aligned with client’s strategic goals
• Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to create detailed reports and presentations that offer clear, actionable insights for clients
• Perform quality control metrics associated with project delivery
• Conduct benchmarking, trending, data mining and data analytics
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to accommodate specific client needs
• Educate clients on current industry trends, challenges and opportunities
• Prepare and conduct client presentations providing analysis and consultancy

Delivery Management

• Understand data analysts’ and consultants’ roles and responsibilities in project delivery
• Provide direction to team members that support client projects
• Exhibit proficiency with Advito proprietary and third-party tools used to conduct consulting analyses

Industry Knowledge

• Staying abreast of industry trends and developments to continuously improve the consultancy's service offerings. Participating in the creation of innovative solutions that leverage new technologies or methodologies in business travel

Process and Product Improvement

• Participate in process and tool improvement initiatives
• Provide support for internal Advito projects

About you

Essential

• Based in Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, or the Netherlands
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience in air travel (project management, airline pricing, TMC, consulting)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced analytical skills
• Well-developed problem solving and decision making capabilities
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Strong Excel mandatory, PowerPoint and Word software skills 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred

• Data visualization tool usage i.e. Quicksight Tableau, Power BI
• Knowledge about sustainability in business travel
• German and/or French language skills
