Accountant FSS (Financial Shared Services) AR

Full time, Remote/Hybrid, India

The Accountant FSS AR plays a key role in the correct accounting of all AR-related records. And supports and makes part of credit control activities to maintain our cash inflow at the required level. You will process bank statements – allocation of amounts received to the correct outstanding items - as an important task to have the most effective credit control process. In addition, you support the monthly closing process by ensuring that items on the month-end checklist are processed promptly and accurately.

As an Accountant FSS (Financial Shared Services) AR, you will

Perform balance sheet management/reconciliation and being owner of certain general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and conduct necessary account analysis and research
Support with the manual invoicing process so that external clients and our internal departments (intercompany) receive the correct invoices on time
Process and reconcile bank statements
Support manager FSS AR with various AR related accounting tasks so that the general ledger accounts are completely and properly cleared and cleaned

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Prior experience in AR accounting/general accounting
Proficiency with ERPs and MS-office (Word, Excel) required
Proficiency in SAP (FICO) preferred
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
English language skills - expressed in word and writing - for internal and external communication
