Project Analyst (Hybrid)
Full time, Tokyo, Japan
The Project Analyst coordinates and scopes all projects with low to medium complexity submitted to the Global Project Management Organization team. This role is responsible for providing back-up support of responsibilities for the Senior Project Analyst which differ from the Project Analyst. This role will be accountable for supporting and coordinating other non-defined projects, activities and administrative functions to ensure departmental goals and objectives are accomplished.
As a Project Analyst, you will
- Manage and coordinate the broad scoping process for limited project requests regionally
- Prepare basic documentation of new projects through to project assignment including the collection and understanding of: contract, pricing, Statement of Work, Scope of Services
- Oversee the request of primary functional department date availability for all projects
- Liase with sales department on date availability for projects and escalate appropriately
- Maintain departmental forms, templates, contact lists, and supporting documents
- Provide administrative duties for executives and department, this can include making periodic decisions in executive’s absence, within pre-determined scope of authority, applying discretion and judgment
About you
- You have a few years of experience in the travel industry
- Previous experience in a qualified project management role
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Japanese
- Skills in GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus
- Six Sigma or other project management methodology familiarization preferred
