About the Role

If you’re equal parts strategist, negotiator, and client-service pro, this Venue Sourcing Consultant role might be your perfect match. You’ll help bring meetings and events to life by sourcing the right venues, negotiating smart deals, and keeping budgets and details on track. It’s a fast-moving, client-facing role where organization, relationship-building, and big-picture thinking all matter. You’ll join a collaborative team at BCD Meetings & Events that works hard, moves quickly, and knows how to have fun along the way.

You’re Good At

  • Sourcing hotels and venues, building RFPs, and presenting clear, client-friendly options that align with meeting goals, budgets, and timelines
  • Negotiating contracts, terms, added value, and concessions while keeping cost savings, compliance, and client risk top of mind
  • Managing multiple projects at once without losing track of deadlines, details, or data accuracy
  • Building strong relationships with clients, hotel partners, vendors, CVBs, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Working consultatively and independently, with a sharp eye for budgets, turnaround notes, reporting, and overall program success

You Might Also Have

  • Experience using Cvent or similar sourcing systems for RFPs, bookings, and data management
  • A strong understanding of venue contracts, client addendums, procurement practices, and service level expectations
  • Confidence supporting site visits, turnover meetings, and client presentations in a polished, professional way
  • Knowledge of incentive travel, meetings, and events and how they support broader business goals
  • A habit of staying current on destination trends, new properties, and creative sourcing solutions

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25% 

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Venue Sourcing Consultant  is between $60,000 - $85,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
