About the role:

We are looking for a Group Air Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role you will work alongside your teammates and with clients to oversee the setup and delivery of group air reservations, reporting, invoicing and final billing / reconciliation.  This role requires a wide range of responsibility, including the ability to guide clients through the established processes, assist in the development of new processes, and serve as the primary point of authority on all air aspects of the meeting / event for the client meeting owner/stakeholder.  If you are super detail oriented, customer service focused and a team player, read on!

As a Group Air Program Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide consultation to client meeting owner about group air ticketing process, recommendations and other considerations
  • Have thorough knowledge of meeting specific air requirements, rules and SOPs
  • Produce Air Analysis reports upon request
  • Create meeting / event Profile to link air booking into the Sabre system and upload attendee lists for agent access
  • Serve as liaison between attendees, client meeting owner / stakeholder and meeting planner for policy deviation requests
  • Review attendee itineraries and reports, throughout the meeting / event, to ensure the program stays within budget and advise client meeting owner / stakeholder if additional funds are needed.
  • Monitor seat assignments and flight changes 
  • Run final reports, (ticketing summary including refunds, final arrival & departure, savings summary) and send to internal meeting planner within required timeframe.

  • Managing multiple priorities and being adaptable. You have exceptional problem-solving skills, are calm under pressure.
  • Teamwork. It takes a village.
  • Cvent, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Providing superior customer service. You understand that it is a person that is attending your event and to go above and beyond to ensure they have the best experience possible.

 

You might also have:

  • A college degree from a 4- year institution.
  • Ideal candidate possesses 2+ years in a group air coordinator role.

 

You should know:

  • This role is (virtual and operates in the Eastern time zone).
  • Our standard working hours are 9:00 AM -5:30 PM.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25% 

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Travel Consultant  is between $24 - $31 per hour. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
