About the Role
If you love bringing big, complex events to life, this role puts you right at the center of it all. You’ll lead conventions, internal meetings, and sales events, where compliance, precision, and flawless execution matter every step of the way. From sponsorship approvals and registration to onsite delivery and budget reconciliation, you’ll keep every moving part on track. It’s a fast-paced, client-facing role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong partnerships, and making sure every detail lands just right.
You’re Good At
- Managing conventions, national sales meetings, and internal events from kickoff through onsite execution and final reconciliation in a structured, deadline-driven environment
- Navigating compliance requirements and client policies with confidence
- Building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams while serving as a trusted go-to for process guidance and event best practices
- Creating and managing budgets, reporting, and meeting data with accuracy, while keeping stakeholders informed along the way
- Juggling multiple priorities, troubleshooting issues quickly, and staying calm, organized, and detail-focused under pressure
You Might Also Have
- Two to five years of experience in convention, internal meetings, and/or corporate meeting management
- A four-year college degree
- Hands-on experience with Cvent and Microsoft Office, especially Excel reporting
- PowerPoint skills and experience supporting marketing-focused event strategies
You Should Know
- For local applicants, this role is hybrid in West Chester, PA
- Previous corporate meeting & event planning experience is required
- Travel is required, up to 30% annually (5 - 8 times per year, domestic only)

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%
We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Meeting Planner, Conventions and Internal Events is between $60,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
