About the Role
Design and deliver end-to-end meetings and events that wow—from creative concept and venue sourcing to onsite execution and final reconciliation. You’ll be the client’s go-to partner, steering timelines, budgets, suppliers, and attendee management for complex, high-touch programs. Expect a fast pace, plenty of problem-solving, and chances to bring smart, creative ideas to life. Travel about 20% to lead onsite operations and ensure flawless service. This role has the ability to be hybrid, with the expectation of being in-office Tuesday-Thursday for candidates in the Austin, Texas and Cupertino, California regions.
You’re Good At
- Managing full-cycle event planning (3+ years): sourcing, contracting, budgeting, registration, onsite, and reconciliation
- Strategic venue sourcing and contract negotiation (e-RFPs, T&Cs, concessions) that drive cost savings
- Building consultative client relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders and suppliers
- Owning complex timelines, budgets, data accuracy, and reports while meeting SLAs and deadlines
- Leading onsite operations (about 20% travel), troubleshooting in real time, and elevating service delivery
You Might Also Have
- Experience leading cross-functional or cross-regional teams
- Familiarity with conferences, conventions, and citywide programs
- Knowledge of group air and attendee travel logistics
- Hands-on skill with meeting tech for registration, manifests, and reporting
- A knack for creative concepts that enhance the attendee experience

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%
We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Meeting Planner is between $60,000 - $77,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
