As a Small Meeting Manager at BCD Meetings & Events, you'll be the go-to expert for our client’s event team, ensuring every detail aligns with their brand vision. Your role will involve managing logistics for multiple programs, driving success through effective communication and relationships with vendor partners and key stakeholders. Join us for an exciting journey where you'll create captivating events while enhancing attendee experiences!
You’re good at
• Consulting with clients and stakeholders to establish event objectives and requirements
• Managing intricate logistics, from site selection to contract negotiations
• Leading the planning process with a proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills
• Building strong relationships with vendors to ensure compliance and quality
• Utilizing tools like Cvent and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline operations
You might also have
• 1-3 years of experience in event planning or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A knack for problem-solving and staying calm under pressure
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
• Experience facilitating virtual events, especially through Zoom
You should know
• This is a hybrid position, reporting to our client office in Toronto, ON, Canada several days per week.
• Travel up to 10% is required, potentially internationally.
