Technology Solutions Platform Specialist (Hybrid)

Full time, Bangalore, India

The Technology Solutions role sits within the BCD Meetings and Events (M&E) Global Technology & Product team. They will be part of the Technology Solutions team and responsible for platform administration, invoice management, and research for strategic third-party software solutions managed by the Solutions & Intelligence team.

As a Technology Solutions Platform Specialist, you will

• Be accountable for Global Technology & Product invoice processing
• Focus on 3rd party solution management. This includes managing roles and permissions for end users of platforms
• Participate in vendor management calls and business reviews
• Perform quarterly security audit of platforms to meet BCD M&E compliance requirements
• Support global Technology Solutions team with industry research on technology platforms and trends
• Own and maintain critical internal databases tracking users, technologies, costs and invoices

About you

• Prior meeting industry experience with a focus on technology solutions
• Previous experience in a mid/large company or as a management consultant to such companies 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint
• Effective communication skills in English (i.e., written, verbal and presentation) and project management skills 
• Financial management – knowledge of basic accounting concepts
• Prior experience with SAP and Cvent is a plus
