About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Symposia Specialist, where you'll be the mastermind behind the planning and execution of engaging symposia for a leading pharmaceutical client! Your project and client management skills will shine as you juggle multiple congress instances, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love bringing people together, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
As a Symposia Specialist you will:
- Lead the development, planning, and execution of symposia.
- Manage timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Oversee registration, attendee management, and compliance.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to create unforgettable events.
- Provide onsite support and assistance during programs.
You're Good At
- Having a knack for organization and communication will be key in this role.
- You excel at managing details and keeping everything on track, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
- You have a passion for problem-solving and a talent for building relationships.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing scenarios.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors.
You Might Also Have
- A background in the travel industry or hold a CMP certification.
- A Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred).
- At least three years of congress program planning experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Knowledge of domestic and international group travel.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).

- Up to 25% travel is required

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Symposia Specialist is between $57,000 - $65,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
