About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Staff Accountant, where you'll play a crucial role in managing the financials for exciting events! You'll be responsible for invoicing, payments, collections, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Collaborate closely with program managers and producers to keep our financials accurate and compliant. If you love numbers and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
You're Good At
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively with vendors and project teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Utilizing accounting software like Xero, bill.com, and Expensify to streamline processes.
- Preparing and reconciling invoices and journal entries with accuracy.
- Meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks in a timely manner.
You Might Also Have
- Previous experience in accounting, particularly in A/P, A/R, and client billing/collections.
- A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software.
- Experience in the travel industry, hotels, or meetings & events.
- A knack for business management functions and optimizing project profitability.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Staff Accountant is between $60,000 - $70,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
