About the Role

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients to design smart sourcing strategies while ensuring they get the best deals on venues and services. Your knack for negotiation and building relationships with preferred suppliers will shine as you secure top-notch options. You're Good At
- Crafting and executing tailored sourcing strategies that satisfy client needs.
- Negotiating contracts to achieve the best value and terms for meetings and events.
- Building strong partnerships with suppliers while maintaining integrity and professionalism.
- Managing multiple projects and timelines with excellent organizational skills.
- Effectively communicating with clients and team members to ensure all requirements are met.
- Sourcing and negotiating large, more complex meetings and events.
You Might Also Have
- Experience with Cvent or similar technology platforms for sourcing and management (Cvent proficiency is required).
- A background in preparing engaging venue presentations for clients.
- Strong time management skills to juggle various tasks smoothly.
- Familiarity with the life sciences industry, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience with supplier relations.
- A passion and understanding for cost savings / avoidance.
You Should Know
- This role requires proficiency in Cvent
- This position is fully virtual, operating on Eastern Standard business hours
- Up to 25% travel is required

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Sourcing Manager is between $70,000 - $87,500. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
