Project Accountant (Remote)

Full time, Bangalore, India

Join BCD Meetings & Events as a Project Accountant, where you will support financial management of client meetings and events from project setup through to final billing and reconciliation.

In this role, you will work closely with Meeting Managers, Operations teams, and Finance colleagues to ensure project costs are accurately recorded, client invoices are prepared correctly, and financial reporting reflects project performance.

You will play an important role in supporting timely billing, maintaining financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements.

As a Project Accountant, you will

• Manage client billing and project financial activities across the full project lifecycle
• Ensure accuracy of project costs, revenues, and financial data throughout event delivery
• Work closely with Meeting Managers and operational teams to support project financial performance
• Analyze financial information and identify discrepancies or variances
• Support timely project billing, reconciliation, and financial close activities following event completion
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and General Ledger teams to resolve financial queries
• Follow company procedures and financial guidelines in a day-to-day activities

About you

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or Project Finance environment
• Understanding of billing and reconciliation processes
• Experience working with financial or ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
