Job title : Accounting and FP&A Supervisor (Finance, Planning and Analysis)

Job description:

The Accounting and FP&A Supervisor plays a key role in the company's finance team and is responsible for leading accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities. The professional will work on the management of accounting activities and the strategic analysis of financial data, contributing to informed decision-making and the financial success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Supervising and coordinating the company's accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and conformity of financial statements.

- Supporting the monthly accounting closing process, including account reconciliations, provisioning and expense allocation.

- Developing and implementing efficient processes for generating accurate financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.

- Generate financial analysis, variation and trend reports, pointing out guidelines for the

the administration.

- Supervising and coordinating the Financial Planning and Analysis teams to prepare budgets, forecasts and performance analyses.

- Participating in identifying opportunities for improvement in financial processes and proposing effective solutions.

- Ensuring that the company complies with current accounting and tax regulations.

- Supervising and guiding the finance team, providing ongoing training and development.

Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field;

- Postgraduate degree in related field;

-Solid experience in accounting, finance or related areas, with a track record of career progression.

- Thorough knowledge of local and international accounting standards.

- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, especially in the area of services.

- Skilled in financial analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data and propose strategic solutions.

- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

- Previous experience supervising or managing teams.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different areas of the company.

- Advanced Excel, mastery of Power BI would be a plus

- English - Advanced

- Spanish - a plus

Desired Qualifications:

- Certification in Accounting (CRC) is desired.

- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Financial Administration or related field.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial analysis software.

- Knowledge of data analysis tools and accounting software.
