About the Role
Join our dynamic Life Sciences team as a leader who ensures seamless operations and delivers exceptional service to clients and program attendees! In this role, you'll manage a talented group of meeting planners and meeting coordinators on a dedicated client account team, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on innovation and excellence. Your strategic vision will shape the team’s success while building strong relationships with clients through trust and open communication. Bring your passion for leadership and project management to BCD M&E and make a real impact!
You're Good At
- Leading and managing teams to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures effectively.
- Proactively addressing operational trends to enhance service delivery.
- Communicating and maintaining strong client relationships to meet expectations.
- Navigating complex projects while working independently and collaboratively.
You Might Also Have
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience / understanding of Cvent.
- Over eight years of experience in event planning or program management within the life sciences (pharmaceutical) industry.
- Proven track record in client and account management.
- Strong negotiation skills with outside vendors and budget management.
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry is a must-have for this role.

- This is a virtual role that will ideally operate in Central Time Zone
- This role will require travel.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Operations Manager, Planning is between $75,000 - $80,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
