About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the US Team Lead and play a pivotal role in leading a passionate group of event planning professionals dedicated to servicing a prestigious client in the finance sector. You'll drive initiatives, enhance team processes, and ensure that every event exceeds expectations, all while having a blast in a fast-paced environment. If you're a proactive leader with proven track record for leading high performing events teams, especially within the finance industry, this is your chance to shine!
You’re Good At
- Leading and motivating a team of planners and registration managers to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies and processes to enhance operational efficiency and team performance.
- Building positive relationships across teams, ensuring collaboration and success in every project.
- Utilizing technology and innovative solutions to elevate the event experience.
You Might Also Have
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in people management, overseeing an event planning team, specifically within the finance industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and nurturing a high-performing team.
- Strong business acumen, with expertise in budget management and cost-saving strategies.
- Skill in client relationship management and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Cvent for reporting and data analysis.
You Should Know
- This role requires in-office attendance 4 days a week in Midtown, Manhattan, with occasional travel up to 25%.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of US Team Lead (Manager of Event Planning) is between $100,000 - $145,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
