We are looking for a Senior Supplier Relations Manager to join our growing Supplier Relations team. You will champion and advance the vision, strategic objectives, and specific targets for Supplier Relations in the UK & EMEA region. This role will oversee and manage supplier partnerships, fostering strong relationships and ensuring optimal performance both within the organisation and with external partners.

As a Senior Supplier Relations Manager, you will:

• Enhance agreements with supplier partners 
• Meet income targets and KPIs 
• Manage relationships with hotel partners, including negotiations and audits 
• Oversee preferred partner relationships globally and locally in line with strategies 
• Engage local teams to boost partner compliance 
• Handle sponsorship requests and streamline processes 
• Grow market share and supplier income through engagement and training 
• Contribute to management reports and collaborate on forecasts and strategies 
• Stay updated on supplier trends and support advisory boards/events 
• Serve as a local contact for supplier issues and provide operational aid 
• Maintain a preferred partners database for better knowledge sharing 
• Support operational and educational activities related to Supplier Relations 

You’re good at:

• Managing and nurturing supplier relationships, focusing on negotiation and performance 
• Extensive UK and European hotel/venue knowledge
• Developing and implementing strategic supplier initiatives and objectives 
• Collaborating across various teams to enhance preferred partner compliance 
• Analysing and reporting supplier performance metrics effectively 
• Problem-solving and creating innovative solutions in fast-paced environments

You might also have:

• Worldwide Meeting & Events Hotel Knowlege
• Eved and/or Cvent expertise
• Attended external industry events such as IMEX and IBTM

You should know:

• This is a hybrid role with time spent in your local BCD Meetings & Events office - Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland or UK.
• Our standard working hours are 9.00 - 17.30 with an hour break (consider VS shift pattern)

• You must have the relevant rights to work in the country you are applying 
• You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
