About the role:
We are looking for a London based outgoing Regional Operational Manager to join our dynamic team and work alongside our client, Apple! In this client facing role, you will act as the direct manager of a team of event planning professionals. You will collaborate with direct reports, colleagues and clients to ensure our account team is exceeding expectations in operational excellence. This is a very high touch role which demands precision whilst be comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll be the leader every person hopes to have by mentoring and supporting your team, and the leader every client wants to work with.

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will:
- Business Owner for Region, Regional Resources, Regional SOPs and SLAs
- Leads Regional Operations-Innovate and lead operational efficiencies and strategies for the team
- Owns Regional Partnerships with Preferred Partners and Travel Partners
- Collaborate with Training team for Training and Development of direct reports
- Owns regional Recruitment and Onboarding Process
- Owns all elements of Team Management, Moral and Administration
- Facilititates Meetings & Program Management including meeting assignments, budget review and forcasting for events
- Be the face of the department in region, connect regularly with business units to provide updates and education
- Aligns with Apple leadership and BCD Leadership regularly to drive strategy
- Supports interdepartmental projects and initiatives
You’re good at:
- Leading a team, including virtual people management
- Building relationships and collaboration and communicating at all levels, with people from different backgrounds
- Seeing around corners, being preparered for every eventuality and a creative problem solver
- Working in high touch, fast paced/ short lead time enviroment
- Interpreting data and provding recommendations for service improvement
- Collaborating on work tasks
- Delivering excellent customer service
You might also have:
- Experience of Apple suite of applications and products
- Knowledge of Cvent and/or Evedpay, or an acumen for new technology
- Proven experience in leading global event strategies
- A degree in Hospitality or related program
You should know:
- This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 2 days minimum in our Apple Client office in London.
- Our standard working hours are 9:00 – 17:30 with an hour break
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
