About the role:

We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform day-to-day accounting functions, supporting Meeting Managers and Meeting Coordinators by preparing the final reconciliation of executed ancillary meetings. The Project Accountant prepares and completes all final billings while working closely with program managers, account managers, and management. They ensure the financials and HCP reporting for each meeting are managed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.  Sound like you? Read on!

 

As a Project Accountant, you will: 

• Partner with internal planning team members (Meeting Managers and Meeting Coordinators) throughout the reconciliation process to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation files.

• Review final billing invoices and summaries and provide overview to Meeting Manager for client review.

• Review attendance of the participants with Meeting Coordinators.  Help to solve any errors related to participants.

• Verify appropriate back-up documentation is attached.  Work with Meeting Managers and vendors to reconcile discrepancies.

• Record Transfer of Value for Health Care Professionals

• Review contracts and final invoices for savings and document them accordingly

• Work independently on assigned tasks and job functions to meet client set deadlines 

 

You are good at: 

• Accounting - experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and client billing. 

• Working on reconciliations with multiple foreign currencies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to details

• C1 fluency level in English. Strong communication skills

 

You might also have: 

• Cvent experience preferred

• Pharmaceutical/Travel Industry knowledge

 

You should know:

• This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per month in our office in Laguinilla, Heredia. Candidates should live within the San Jose, GAM to be considered. 

• Our standard working hours are 6:30 AM -3:30 PM local time. This role supports a client located in the Eastern Time Zone.
