About the Role

Join us as the Head of The Collective Germany and take the lead in building The Collective in Germany by crafting unforgettable experiences! Shape the vision and direction of The Collective in Germany. You'll be at the helm, building and guiding an exceptional team of creatives, productional and operational experts to deliver wow-worthy events across live, virtual, and hybrid platforms. With your visionary approach, you’ll shape the future of our operations and spark innovation at every turn. You’re Good At

Creative & Production Leadership

• Define and implement creative strategies that elevate client experiences.
• Oversee production planning and execution for complex events across live, virtual, and hybrid platforms.
• Ensure creative concepts align with client objectives and brand standards.
• Project Management Excellence.
• Work together with teamleads and their teams to deliver on outstanding projects.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Implement best practices for workflow efficiency and resource allocation.
• Act as escalation point for complex projects and client challenges.
• Client & Commercial Management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Drive account growth through innovative solutions and strategic upselling.
• Ensure financial health of projects through accurate forecasting and budget control.
• Be seen as an industry leader, actively participating in industry forums, educational conferences.

Finance

• Financial responsibility for The Collective projects to include accurate budgetary control of projects including preparing and managing budgets, ensuring time is being charged for according to scope and requirement changes, final reconciliations and managing client invoicing and processing supplier payments, in adherence to financial procedures and timelines and guiding your team on the same.
• Responsibility for ensuring payment schedules are managed for all projects to ensure a positive cash flow for the business at all times.
• Work with your team to ensure budgets are regularly reviewed, time is charged for accurately.
• Ensure you and your team approach all business with a commercial view to maximise profit for the company and demonstrate value and savings to our clients.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of creative, production and project management professionals.
• Recruitment, onboarding and line management of your team and any additional freelancer resource as required.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Oversee training and development to maintain industry-leading standards.
• Professionally manage your team and freelancers, creating and encouraging a positive working atmosphere, supporting with the motivation and morale of all team members.
• Full responsibility for your team and any assigned freelancers on a day-to-day basis to include leading and managing them by prioritising workloads, resource planning and providing guidance and advice on best practice.
• Identify training needs and weaknesses within the team and work to address these. Be confident in giving constructive feedback, and with dealing with difficult situations.
• Ensuring all your team members perform and deliver their events to a high standard, maximizing profit, following all departmental and business processes and procedures and be confident in managing them through this and leading by example.
• Leading team performance management and appraisals and work with team members on their development plans.

You Might Also Have

• 10+ years of experience in event production and project management.
• A knack for navigating complex logistics in an agency setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships.
• The ability to tackle challenges head-on with a positive and collaborative approach.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• A visionary mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Flexible approach to work, effective time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Prepared to challenge and address difficult situations when they arise with colleagues, suppliers and clients alike, finding constructive solutions whilst remaining empathetic.

• High levels of personal integrity and self-awareness.

• Highly skilled commercial management and business acumen.

• Proficiency in both German and English, with a flair for creativity and strategy.

• Readiness to travel and deliver events onsite.
