This role will play an important part commercially, as part of a winning pitch team, leading the development of high-impact, creative proposals in response to client briefs and event goals.


We are looking for an Experience Designer, a creative thinker (and tinkerer) who has an exceptional thought process. This individual excels in curating experiences which immerse audiences in a unique, purpose-designed environment, to deliver critical content creatively to an audience.  


These virtual, hybrid and live experiences can range from intimate to large meetings, conferences or incentives. They could include brand activation experiences, product launches, gala dinners and awards ceremonies.  


This role combines strategic thinking, creative storytelling and commercial awareness while partnering closely with account management teams, operation teams & design and production teams to design stories and experiences that truly make a difference.


Your responsibilities


Creative Proposal Development

  • Ability to develop creative proposals (and work with the team to ensure acceptable budget/s) with unique, cutting-edge ideas and concepts that respond directly to client goals. Creative solutions should reflect client direction and assert a confident, creative viewpoint.
  • Interpret and translate client needs, briefs and objectives and RFPs to define proposal strategy, creative direction, and key differentiators
  • Craft compelling, narratives, themes and concepts that translate creative ideas into persuasive commercial propositions
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of creative, production, communication and attendee management offerings and have the capability to write about each solution   
  • Researching and understanding client, client brands, markets, values and competitors across a variety of industry sectors to strengthen pitch positioning and insights
  • Collaborate with Account Management / Operation to shape integrated responses and lead the proposal development process
  • Liaise directly with clients, where required
  • Own proposal messaging, structure, tonality to ensure alignment with our brand, creative standard and client expectations
  • Manage own workload and take personal responsibility for proposal quality and completion in a timely and efficient manner, and ensure that all proposals and costs are proofread before sending or presenting to client
  • Ensure that all pitch team members are fully briefed and educated on the solution (if required) and lead the pitch rehearsal and client presentation
  • Continuously improve proposal templates and content libraries
  • Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable on key industry trends, and understand how to leverage into our solutions
  • Continuously share best practices, knowledge and experience with other team members


We’re looking for you if your profile matches the following:

  • Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in event industry, preferably in an agency environment
  • A strategic mindset and good understanding of sales processes and client engagement strategies
  • Proven track record of winning pitches for live events, experiential marketing or brand activations
  • Strong research skills and ability to organize and analyze information to identify insights that guide creative and business decision
  • Good understanding of event production and creative development
  • Proven experience in proposal writing, business development, marketing or creative content development
  • Excellent storytelling, copywriting and editing skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared objectives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced proficiency with branding, visual storytelling and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Flexible approach to work, able to juggle multiple priorities with resilience under pressure and ever-changing landscape
  • Calm, positive and collaborative approach, open to feedback and direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
