Project Manager Guest Management (m/f/d), BCD Meetings & Events Germany
Fulltime, located in Germany (Düsseldorf, Remote)

Your Responsibilities
- Consulting, conception, planning and implementation of participant management for virtual, hybrid and presence events.
- Management of multiple parallel projects and control/organization of all required resources.
- Event organization on participant level.
- Set-up and execution of customer communications.
- Detail-oriented data entry for events using registration systems.
- Data maintenance in participant management.
- Creation of event materials.
- Cooperation and coordination with project managers, agencies, freelancers and trades.
- Proactive and competent consulting and support of the customer.
- Structuring and development of the projects for which you are responsible.
- Autonomous execution of medium to large projects.
- Cost calculation and monitoring of corresponding budgets.
- On-site support of events, if necessary, over several weeks, and control of the project team in participant management.
You are good at
- At least 5 years of experience in the event industry in agency, business or free, preferably in participant management.
- Degree or completed training in the areas of business informatics, event management, tourism, hotel industry or informatics or comparable.
- Strong IT affinity with proven expertise in end-to-end participant management, including invitation and mailing processes, front-end and back-end setup and maintenance of guest management tools, as well as professional handling of participant communication and solid CMS knowledge.
- Experience in the area of digital user experience, e.g. setting up event apps in various systems or creating event microsites in close cooperation with our project managers and graphic designers.
- High level of confidence in working with Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel skills (intelligent tables, data analysis, complex datasets), effective use of MS SharePoint and MS Teams, and experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot to support efficient, data-driven workflows.
- Strong, networked thinking and understanding of process and information flows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, demonstrating a high degree of service orientation and professionalism.
- Team orientation, communication and cooperation skills, confident and friendly demeanor.
- Process-oriented, proactive & solution-oriented working style.
- Precise work and high-quality standards.
- Willingness to travel, also for longer periods of time.
- Commitment, flexibility and willingness to learn in all areas.
- We would like someone with an excellent command of the German and English languages (verbally and in writing). Any additional European language such as French or Italian would be of added value.
