About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team in supporting our client’s meetings and events program. This role will play a key part in managing event technology and operational processes. This role will focus on supporting teams globally, including APAC, EMEA, and NORAM, with a primary concentration on the client’s World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational excellence, technology expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure seamless event delivery across regions. This role will also partner closely with the client’s Global Events Technology Manager to help shape the global events technology roadmap and strategy.
As an Events Technology Strategist, you’re skilled with and passionate about:
- Global Event Technology Support
- Support event operations and technology needs for global teams across APAC, EMEA, and NORAM.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for event technology tools and platforms. Understand user needs across regions and synthesize opportunities to drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of event technology and alignment to program standards.
- Partner with the client’s Global Events Technology Manager to develop, refine, and contribute to the global events technology roadmap and long-term strategy.
- Technology Deployment & System Administration
- Lead the deployment of multiple event technologies, ensuring they align with operational needs and client goals.
- Develop and improve workflows and automations, creating templates and notifications to enhance system efficiency.
- Serve as the primary system administrator, managing settings, permissions, troubleshooting and maintenance to support ongoing technology functionality.
- Collect, track, and prioritize event technology enhancement requests from users, providing actionable insights to inform platform improvements.
- Onboarding & Training
- Support onboarding of new regions with event technology, ensuring smooth implementation, training, and compliance with global best practices.
- Provide ongoing guidance, resources and troubleshooting to help users maximize value from the tools.
- Design and deliver training sessions for team members, focusing on effective use of event technology and data input procedures.
- Consult with department leaders on best practices for utilizing technology to maximize strategic impact and streamline event management processes.
- Workflow Development & Improvement
- Analyze current processes, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing technology solutions that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Customize templates, create automated workflows, and establish notification systems that support event operations and improved data accuracy.
- Ensure all workflows and system configurations are aligned with Strategic Meetings Management principles.
You might also have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in events technology, system administration, or a related role, with experience supporting large-scale event operations.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with event management software and technologies (e.g., Momentus, Cvent, Eventbrite, CRM systems).
- Strong technical, analytical, and workflow optimization skills.
- Exceptional training and communication abilities, with experience in conducting user training sessions.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Strategic Meetings Management principles and experience in a meetings or events environment.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and proactive, with the ability to bridge technical solutions with strategic needs.
You should know:
- This role is hybrid, with some expectation of being on-site at the client’s headquarters. The expectation is set by the client and must be adhered to by the employee.
- Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM, Monday through Friday

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Client Technology Specialist (Beaverton, Oregon) is between $70,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
