About the role:

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for consultative scoping, intuitive program design, researches/develops/sends eRFP program specifications, monitors availability and offers, provides recommendations, negotiates savings/terms/conditions/concessions, secures contract, and provides contract summary for signature.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will:

• Partner with Event Organizer to ensure Request for Proposal (RFPs) meet all client needs for hotel and non-hotel suppliers.  
• Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when negotiating with suppliers.  
• Negotiate all supplier contracts for the best possible prices and concessions in order to meet savings expectation on meeting spend.  
• Consult throughout the entire sourcing process and make appropriate suggestions to ensure meeting success regarding proposed meeting venues. Prepare availability grid with appropriate options, track first quoted to negotiated.    

You’re good at:

• Keeping abreast of new destination options, well-priced seasonal destination options, and “hot date” offerings. 
• Adept working in event management technology platforms.
• Adhering to deadlines and policies.

You might also have:

• Venue booking system experience
• Previous experience of using Cvent

• This is a UK Remote based role
• The working hours are 9am-5:30pm with an hours lunch break
