About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead in shaping epic customer experiences? As our Meeting and Event Manager, you’ll orchestrate seamless logistics for diverse events while cultivating lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and your team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy wearing multiple hats, this is the perfect role for you! Get ready to make your mark in the world of events!

You're Good At:

  • Managing multiple pharmaceutical meetings at one time.
  • Consulting with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Compliance is key in this role. 
  • Leading and training on-site staff to ensure flawless meeting execution.
  • Negotiating contracts and collaborating with service providers for optimal results.

You Might Also Have:

  • A degree in a business-related field.
  • Two years of experience in meeting planning or related roles, especially in pharmaceutical meetings management.
  • Proficiency in key software programs like Cvent, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • An adventurous spirit, ready for up to 75% travel!

You Should Know:

  • This is a virtual position that requires flexibility and adaptability, with the potential for extensive travel. A valid passport is a must.
  • Our customer is located on the West Coast (PST) but this role can operate in EST, CST or Mountain Time

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Project Manager (Meeting Planner, Life Sciences)  is between $60,000 - $78,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
