About the role:

We are looking for a Presentation Designer to join our dynamic Production team within The Collective. You will be responsible for creating engaging, innovative, and visually appealing presentations that effectively communicate our clients’ messages. You will work with the Production team and direct with clients in their pre-event presentation creation and onsite to control and update presentations. This role requires a blend of design expertise, creativity, and technical skills to produce presentations that align with brand standards and meet the needs of various stakeholders.

As Presentation Designer, you will:

• Design and produce high-quality presentations using software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezzi, and other relevant tools.
• Develop visually appealing layouts, incorporating text, images, graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements.
• Ensure all presentations adhere to brand guidelines
• Revise and update existing presentations to improve their visual appeal and effectiveness.
• Create custom graphics, icons, and illustrations as needed to enhance presentation content.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
• Stay updated on design trends, presentation software updates, and best practices to continually improve the quality of presentations.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on presentation design principles and techniques.
• Work with different clients and stakeholders to understand the objectives and requirements of each presentation project.
• Work with our Experience Design and Creative teams on proposals and internal requirements

You’re good at:

• Proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezzi.
• Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proven experience as a Presentation Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging visuals.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Creative mindset with a passion for design and innovation.
• Onsite live delivery experience including working with the production team.
• Ability to remain calm and pragmatic when working to tight deadlines and last-minute onsite changes.

You may also have:

• Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with interactive presentation tools and technologies.
• Mentoring skills to support with ‘up skilling’ colleagues in the world of presentation design.

You should know:

• This role offers hybrid working with 1-2 days a week spent in either our Derby or Milton Keynes office.
• Our standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break.
• Have the desire and ability to travel in the UK and Overseas.
