About the Role

Love bringing order to the details behind unforgettable events? As a Project Accountant at BCD M&E, you’ll support Life Sciences meetings and congresses in a highly regulated, detail-driven environment where accuracy, compliance, and collaboration really matter. You’ll partner with planning teams, suppliers, and account teams to keep reconciliations, billing, and reporting on track across multiple programs. If you’re energized by deadlines, problem-solving, and making the financial side of events run smoothly, this role is for you.

You’re Good At

• Managing reconciliations, billing, and accounting tasks with strong accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
• Working across multiple currencies and keeping financial records organized, timely, and compliant
• Partnering with Meeting Managers, Meeting Coordinators, and suppliers to resolve participant, budget, and expense issues
• Using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track, review, and report financial details with a high level of precision
• Supporting Life Sciences programs with a quality-focused mindset, including documentation and reporting requirements such as Transfer of Value tracking

You Might Also Have

• A college degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or broader Life Sciences industry
• Familiarity with Cvent and congress-related reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of travel industry operations and supplier payment workflows
• Experience preparing year-end accruals and VAT reclaim documentation

You Should Know

• This role is virtual based in Costa Rica.

C1 Level fluency in English is required for this position.
