Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

Full time, Bangalore, India

 

Join BDC M&E as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will support end-to-end Accounts Payable activities, including supplier invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor account management across multiple entities and regions. You will play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, contributing to smooth operational delivery and strong financial control. 

 

Working within a global finance environment, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Project Accounting, and Reconciliation Teams to maintain efficient and compliant payment processes.

 

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will

  • Process supplier invoices accurately within financial systems
  • Review invoices for completeness, approvals, tax treatment, and correct cost allocation
  • Manage high transaction volumes while maintaining strong attention to details
  • Prepare and validate invoices for payment in line with approved payment schedules and control requirements
  • Manage supplier queries related to invoices and payment status
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries
  • Follow internal control procedures and segregation of duties requirements

 

About you

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations
  • Experience working with SAP or accounting systems
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes
  • Exposure to service-based industries
  • Basic Knowledge of tax
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
