Account Manager, Life Sciences

We're looking for an account manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive strategic business initiatives and optimize the way we do business with key client accounts. You will be focused on all aspects of client response including client follow-up and deliverables. You will be directly responsible for account growth and retention, managing client program initiation, and supporting business development internally and externally. This role will have you leading, collaborating, challenging the status quo, and constantly reaching for the next step with your customer. As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage tasks for client response, client follow up, and client deliverables
  • Work with operations management to identify customer opportunities for process improvement, consulting solutions, strategy, and growth
  • Handle and respond to requests for budget proposals or inquiries for information
  • Directly accountable for account relationship, meeting client expectations, and BCD M&E account financial performance
  • Ensure client profiles are maintained, kept up to date, and accessible
  • Serve as liaison between client and internal support teams. You are the #1 advocate for the internal support team and BCD M&E to the client.

 

You’re good at:

  • Building strong relationships with internal/external customers and teams. 
  • Implementing and managing multiple accounts.
  • Budget development and cost management.
  • Using your discipline and professionalism to handle confidential information.
  • Identifying opportunities through business and industry trends with consultative approach on client recommendations.
  • Proposal development and presentations.

 

You should also have:

  • Education and training associated with completion of a 4-year degree in a business-related program.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Life Science Meetings management. 
  • Experience with meetings and events operations.

 

You should know

  • This is a remote position, often operating on Pacific Time.
  • Travel up to 25% is required for this role.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Account Manager  is between $75,000 - $80,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
